Ask your MP: when will Australia sign the nuclear weapon ban?

As the Australian Government pursues nuclear submarines under AUKUS, in a move that threatens the global nuclear non-proliferation regime, it's even more critical that it commits to rejecting nuclear weapons completely by signing and ratifying the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

The TPNW is the most foolproof mechanism to ensure current and future Australian governments can never slide towards the acquisition or hosting of nuclear weapons. It would also ensure we no longer support or assist with nuclear weapons in any way.

Your MP needs to hear from you, to have the mandate to push for progress on joining the ban, especially now. Words are not enough.

We need a binding legal commitment under the nuclear weapon ban treaty.
